This is for one 1-lb bag of our all-natural laundry soap. We make this with tiny pieces of my Soaps, Washing Soda, Borax, Baking Soda and Essential Oils.
How much is this? For standard washers you should use about 1/4 cup for a big load, so there are 12 loads in a 1-lb bag. For top-loaders and HE machines you use a bit less like 3/16 so there are 14 loads in a 1-lb bag.
REGULAR RECIPE: This is made from a combination of all of our soap scraps and then once it's mixed with the other ingredients we add:
Lavender Essential Oil-For it's antiseptic properties and fragrance
Tea Tree Essential Oil-For it's antiviral, bactericide and antiseptic properties
Sweet Orange Oil-For it's cleaning abilities and fragrance.
My favorite use is as a linen soap. It leaves your pillows with a fresh, healthy smell that is soothing and relaxing. Some customers use this laundry soap on cloth diapers and haven't found any issues, some sources say that the Washing Soda will damage the elastic if used long-term.
The laundry soap comes in a cellophane baggy and is a tannish color with various specks.
